Curious about Nexus One.

Like a great part of the geek society I’m very looking forward to the pressconference organised by Google next thursday.
They are expected to officially announce Google’s first phone called Nexus One [and not Google Phone, as would be more logical].

PrototypeJS to jQuery migration.

Was pretty easy, in a few words.

I find that jQuery was more versitile then Prototype. You can do much, much more.
Also, jQuery is more used, more widely spread and has a huge fan/support base.
Another thing I found handy was the huge plugin bases located here and here.

Although the docs are somewhat complicated and don’t always tell you what you need there are always Tutorials.

This is it. My first blog. I dont expect to get many readers but still.

I hope this is the first of many, but since I’m not such a blogger only time will tell.

I guess this blog is gonna be most about my findings, real life, and personal notes. But first, lets say something about myself.
HI. My name is Leandro Marceddu. I’m a student at KTA1 Hasselt, Belgium and I follow the ‘Informaticabeheer’ classes, which basicly means I get Webdesign (PHP), VBDB, Java, Networking and a bunch of other classes everyone get (geography, history, you get the picture.).

Since this is, hopefully, my last year we all need to do a GIP. GIP stands for ‘geïntegreerde proeven’.
It is actually some sort of test to know what you can do.
My GIP is basicly an Event Management System called EventsPage.be (site isn’t up yet). It involves a user-registration, event-adding, etc etc.

Well, long story short, this blog will be about my findings in PHP, MySQL, HTML, jQuery, Designing, basicly everything I need for this GIP.
